The “crack” in this festive fave comes from the crispy crackers hidden under a layer of buttery toffee and rich chocolate. It’s so irresistible, you might just find yourself sneaking a piece (or three) before the holiday guests arrive. You can sprinkle more than just sweet dip mix on top—try shredded coconut, chopped nuts, holiday sprinkles, or anything else you want!
- Preheat oven to 400° F. Line 1⁄4 Sheet Pan with 1⁄4 Sheet Pan Liner.
- Arrange crackers on pan in a single layer.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Add mix; bring to a boil. Whisk constantly until well combined and the colour has deepened, about 1 min.
- Pour mixture over crackers. Using a spatula, spread into an even layer. Bake 5–6 min, or until bubbly.
- Remove from oven. Immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips and let stand 5 min. Once chocolate has melted, spread evenly over crackers, then sprinkle with sweet dip mix.
- Refrigerate until set, 1–2 hr. Break into pieces to serve.
